WUC UPDATES - Successful Covid-19 Urban Thinkers Campus Series

AETU Asociación Española de Técnicos Urbanistas,

We are pleased to share with you some updates on the on-going COVID-19 campaign in which we have engaged.

So far, 430 panelists and attendees have participated in five webinars as part of the COVID-19 Urban Thinkers Campus Series on urban vulnerabilities and the specific shelter, basic services and safety gaps during the pandemics.

Key messages and recommendations from panelists have been captured in stories posted on the WUC website and largely promoted on social medias:

  1. COVID19 - Urban Thinkers Campus - Facing Urban Vulnerabilities in the COVID-19 Crisis: What is needed to address hot spots and build resilience
  2. Second COVID-19 - Urban Thinkers Campus addresses the basic services gap
  3. Third COVID-19 Urban Thinkers Campus discuss housing inequities revealed by the pandemic
  4. Fourth and Fifth COVID-19 Urban Thinkers Campus discuss safety in cities and communities

This effort represents a wealth of knowledge already, thanks to the key partners of the events, the excellent panelists and the active participation of attendees in the roundtable discussions.
